My Photo

I am on a journey, getting to know my God and the purposes for which He created me. I am learning to rest and be at peace with who I am. The more I rest and cease striving, the more authentic and true to myself I become. I feel like I am in the process of coming forth from my cocoon as a beautiful butterfly. I am a dreamer. I have BIG dreams. I believe that God has given me a child-like faith for things that seem impossible. But, with Jesus ALL things are possible. I realize that we are all being swept up into God’s Grand Epic. We all have a part to play and the time has come to step into our God given roles in His eternal plan. My story is currently taking place in my home as I care for my husband and 3 boys. I am learning to embrace this season at home with small children.

Matthew 18: 2-4
He (Jesus) called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

I titled this blog “Natural Home Learning” for several reasons. I love exploring nature with my children. I love using “natural” learning materials that are pleasant to touch and look at. I am learning to use “natural” moments in our day as opportunities to teach and learn right along side my children. But, my greatest desire is that our simple, “natural” days at home will be infused with supernatural moments where God is teaching all of us!
